Super Hero Korben

At 29 weeks of gestation age our little boy decided he couldn't wait the full 40 weeks to meet his family. Korben is currently in the newborn ICU at Tmh. He was born a whopping 2lbs 14 oz. Unfortunately Korben has had some tuff battles ahead of him, such as a pneumothorax (hole in lung) which required Which chest tube ventilator & oxygen. The current battle before the baby boy and family is an intraventricular hemorrhage, IVH (brain bleed & swelling). Korben has had 2 spinal taps and probably a lot more to try to relieve the pressure in his head so he can have proper brain development. But the spinal taps have not been as successful as the doctors would like and talking about sending the little man to Shand's hospital to a neurosugeon. Korben is his family super hero. He has over came so much already. He is very loved my his mommy Amber, daddy Jonathan & big sister at age 3 Mackena. The donations here will help with family go to Shand's or at Tmh with Korben and give him the love and support him that he needs to grow, thrive, and over come the obstacles ahead.
