Super Typhoon Aid

5 days ago the eye  of  Super Typhoon Rolly made landfall and destroyed  mama Dina"s family's home and the three homes of 2 brothers and 1 sister in  city of Virac which is on the island of Catanduanes in the country of the PHILIPPINES.   The destruction has caused 60% loss to our family's home and the other 3 homes are a total loss. I say this with a heavy heart, as we cannot be there to help our family but we have sent  aid and will continue to do so. Mama Dina and myself are not ones to usually ask for help but after facetiming with our family last night my eyes welled up and can see the feeling of despair in their eyes which has inspired me to reach out to everyone.  Obviously the pandemic has exasperated the situation because the economy has takin a hit and will add to the logistical issues of getting building materials to the island as its a pretty remote location.  We totally understand that times are tough for everyone right now but if you could donate ANY amount, it would be very, very appreciated.  As I type this, I realize that this is a very humbling experience by even setting this page up but I have to do it to help our family. 

The money will be used for various tools, equipment and building supplies to start the rebuild phase as the family will do all the work themselves. All donations will be divided among the 4 households and the goal is to raise $2,000 for each household.  I can assure you that every single cent will be used wisely and appreciated more than you know.
