Super Mario Bros Movie Screening for Kids in Need

After a successful full return to events last year, we're kicking off 2023 with a special screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie for underprivileged kids! As we have in the past, we need your support to give these kids a special night at the movies.

Last year, we were thrilled to fully get back to in-theater events (after having to take a break due to the Pandemic), and even providing movie-themed gift baskets to kids in the hospital. In 2023, we're hoping to do even more events and bring the joy of movies to as many kids in need as possible and are starting with Universal and Illumination's upcoming The Super Mario Bros. Movie!

This is where your help comes in!

Once again we'll be working with local foster organizations and planning to rent out a theater for them to use. As we've done at previous events, we'll also be handing out concession stand gift cards to the kids in attendance, so they can get the snacks they want to enjoy throughout the film.

Any additional funds beyond our goal will go towards our other upcoming events and general costs of running our operation.

At ReelOutreach, we believe that everyone deserves a night (or day) at the movies and that kids, who have no control over their circumstances, need it the most. Unfortunately, with rising costs for tickets and concessions, for many kids the enjoyment of sitting down to enjoy a film is sadly out of reach.

While many consider this a luxury, for kids in need it’s a chance to escape and feel normal. For those in foster care, orphanages, or group homes, the funding simply isn’t available for them to get treated to the movies.

As such, even a simple $1 donation is greatly appreciated and can go towards giving these kids the opportunity for something they may not normally have.
