Sunset Park's Fire Victims

In the middle of the night on October 9th, my sister (Madeline) was awoken in her Sunset Park apartment by the feeling of heat. She got out of bed to realize her apartment was on fire. Madeline quickly woke her two sons, Sean and Madden and the three managed to escape the apartment. The fire erupted quickly, and destroyed nearly everything in the apartment—clothing, furniture, books, photos, and other beloved items. My family lost all of their prized possessions. Thanks to God, they did not suffer any physical injuries, however, the fire has taken a huge toll on them emotionally and financially. Madeline is currently working with the Red Cross to obtain emergency supplies, however, they have essentially nothing in their possession. Madeline is a single mother who has worked tirelessly to provide for her sons, and now she is left with close to nothing. At this time, I’m kindly asking for assistance to help them get back on their feet. A donation of any kind is highly appreciated and will make a huge difference in their lives...
