Sunrise - Sunset

My name is Garrett Campbell and I am fundraising an event for the “Alzheimers UK” and “Darkness into the Light” charities. 

I have chosen Alzheimers UK as my grandfather died as a result of dementia and my grandmother is currently in a care home, having been diagnosed over ten years ago. I have seen the impact this horrendous disease can have, not only on those with the illness, but also on their friends and families.

I have chosen Darkness into the Light, as it brings hope, self-care and acceptance to those contemplating suicide and self-harm and stigma. I believe that this is particularly relevant during this period of lockdown and social distancing

On Monday 15th June, I will to work out, non-stop, from sunrise to sunset – approximately 16 hours exercise.
