The Sunrise Elementary School PTO would like to welcome you back to school. For those of you who are new to Sunrise, welcome to the family! The 2017-18 school year is going to be an exciting year filled with new adventures and opportunities. We are ready to blast off with you!
The Sunrise PTO is volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators and staff who are dedicated to the successful education of our children. We do this by raising money and planning activities that are not part of the normal school curriculum.
Five years ago the PTO decided focus to on one main fundraiser per year. The Sunrise Fun Run was created to raise enough money to fund all of the activities the PTO supports for the entire school year. We still participate in other fundraisers, but the majority of our funding comes from the Sunrise Fun Run.
The 5th Annual Sunrise Fun Run will be held on Friday Sept. 29th. More information will come home on Sept. 15th.
