Hello, my name is Dakota and I’m fundraising to help get my family and I through very extensive veterinary bills.

The newest addition to our family, our 13 week old Basset Hound, Sunless, was admitted to King Hopkins Pet Hospital on Sunday, February 9th. We admitted him after a misdiagnosis from our previous, somewhat negligent veterinarian hospital on February 4th. Initially, we were told Sunless had a bacterial infection after seeking help due too lethargy and occasional vomiting. After 5 days of treatment Sunless had a severe decline which led to his admittance to King Hopkins. After proper examinations and the opinion of a radiologist, there was confirmed dilation in his small intestines which led to a 24 hour hospitalization on IV fluids with a barium swallow test to confirm a potential mechanical blockage.

Since, Sunless has slightly improved under veterinary care and is being monitored until tomorrow to see if the blockage passes on its own. If he doesn’t decline he will be sent home for us to monitor. If he does happen to decline it will lead to an emergency surgery to remove the blockage.

Already, these expenses have been much more than we can take on which is why we’re requesting any sort of help you can give.
