Sunflower State FC Men's & Women's Teams

Here at Sunflower State FC, we believe hard work and dedication are the keys to success! We want to provide competition opportunities to all types of players and develop athletes on and off the field. We're built from the ground up because we love the beautiful game. We want not only to represent our players on the field but also the great state of Kansas.

Born out of a love for the game our founding members began playing in Kansas City adult leagues as Queso Blanco. Over our first two years competing in the most competitive amateur adult leagues and tournaments in the area we found substantial success, winning 10 first and second-place trophies. Through these years interest in our team began to grow and our passion for the game fueled the desire to continue to play at a high level and provide additional playing opportunities for players that may not have them otherwise. This led to the development and transition to Sunflower State FC and the beginning of semi-pro competition in the MASL 3 and UPSL in 2020-2021 and then the NPSL in the 2022 season. Our passion and excitement for the game persist and we are excited to bring opportunity to players and make an impact through soccer in our community.

The funds from our donations will be used to continue growing this club and give fans a chance to have a huge impact on this grassroots soccer club as we look to become the premier club in Kansas City for up-and-coming talents!
