Summit1 - Three Peaks for ME Research UK

Watching someone close to you struggle with an exhausting illness like ME can be utterly heartbreaking, especially when so little is done to fund research into its cause. With millions of people affected by this disease globally, it is clear that more must be done to bring an end to this vicious condition. Summit1 is a team of young lads completing the 3 Peaks challenge in harsh winter conditions to raise awareness and money for research into why those who suffer from ME struggle so much in day-to-day activities. We aim to summit all 3 of the highest peaks in England, Wales, and Scotland over 24 hours. Any donations are accepted with thanks, and we hope we can inspire others to take action similarly.

Our principal aim is to commission and fund high-quality scientific (biomedical) investigation into the causes, consequences and treatment of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS).
