My name is Phil Grant, i'm currently in my 2nd year as the head coach for Summit Academy Charter School Boys basketball team. Our school is located in Redhook Brooklyn.
Last year was was not only my first year coaching, but it was also my teams first year in the PSAL B division. We got off to a rough start, but finished of strong, and qualified for the playoffs with a 9 and 9 league record.
We lost our only senior from last years team, Melick Lubin, who is now a freshman at Albany University.
Besides Melick, we have all of our core players returning, along with a few additions.
With all of that being said, I am trying to raise money for our team to be able to purchase our uniforms, team sneakers, sweatsuits, and gym bags. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Our season officially tips off on Nov 30th, so if possible I would like to have this money raised by the 15th to have time to order and receive the equipment.
