Summer's Summer at Harvard

Hello to anyone out there taking an interest in my campaign. My name is Summer Abusharkh, and I am a high school junior presented with an amazing opportunity to study at Harvard as a part of the Secondary School program; it lasts for seven weeks, starting in late June and ending in early August, where I have enrolled in two four-credit courses to take while living at Harvard University. I received some scholarship from the program, with the help and written recommendation from my head of school, but any additional help I could get would be greatly appreciated by my family and me.

In the future, I plan to study astrophysics. To achieve that, I am taking an introduction to astronomy and an introductory course in coding (specifically C++) this summer. At my high school, I am taking the most rigorous courses available to me, and a dual enrollment class at Salem State University. With my total of 5 AP classes between this and last year, I also spend every day after school in various clubs, including being an editor to the yearbook and literary magazine, a member of the National Honor Society, and a prominent member of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance club.
