Summer Recreation Camp

The Somerset County YMCA sponsors an after-school homework assistance program at St. Bernard's Episcopal Church for students whose first language is not English.   English is not spoken in the homes of the 15 students in the program, so during the summer months, the children lose some of their English skills.  The young people in St. Bernard's confirmation class would like to raise funds to send these children to the local Recreation 6-week summer camp where they will have the opportunity to keep up their English skills and have fun!   The cost of the summer program is $375 per child, plus extra for Friday field trips.  Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
