Summer Ecuador Mission Trip 2018

My name is Jared Jones, I am a senior at Whitefield Academy, and my one goal before I go to college is to return to Ecuador. Two years ago, I started a campaign that gave me the opportunity to go to Quito, Ecuador to teach and minister to underprivileged students at Amor y Esperanza (Love and Hope in Spanish). Thanks to all of my donors, I was able to go there and have an eye-opening and thought-provoking experience there. This year, I want to do it again.

For those who do not know, my school has a missionary program that takes place in Quito, Ecuador for ten days. The Whitefield students partner up with another person to teach either English, science, and the Bible. For the past few years, we have also been helping with projects in the community, such as construction and decoration of their new school.  It is a great experience outside the United States.

If anyone is willing, I need to raise $1800 for the trip overall. All funds will ultimately go towards the cost of the trip itself. The first payment of $200 is due in the second week of February. The trip will take place in the first few weeks of June. I will be forever grateful if you can help me have this one last chance to go back to Ecuador. #onelastride
