Support the Suffern Robotics Team to get to States

We did it, we made it to States! All the hard work and long hours we’ve put into our robot and team since September have paid off! After coming in first place for the prestigious INSPIRE award given to the best overall team and third place Connect Award at the Peekskill Regional Championships, Suffern Robotics has advanced to the FIRST Tech Challenge State Championships. This will make it the 5th year in a row where we have advanced this far.
We will be competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship in Utica, NY on March 14, 2020. The team has a lot to do to prepare as we go to represent New York’s Hudson Valley at this very prestigious competition. Not only will the team have to work on improving their robot and team, but we will also need to raise the funds needed to cover travel expenses to Utica!
Please help us get there! We very much appreciate your generous support to offset the expenses involved with transporting with our team and our robot to Utica. This is not only a great opportunity but also a testament to our growing knowledge and application of technology and its capabilities. Fundraising makes it possible for every student to participate in this experience!
The mission of the FIRST program is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills. These skills inspire innovation and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
