Suffered Failed Embryo Transfer, Need To Try Again

Hi everyone, my name is La Tasha Shareef and I had an embryo transfer done on September 5th, 2020. My beta number started out very low and doubled a few days later and never increased anymore after that so it was considered as a Chemical Pregnancy meaning the medication I was on is what was giving a pregnancy reading, not me actually being pregnant. So I experienced a Failed Pregnancy. The embryo did not implant successfully. Needless to say I am devistated as I only had 1 embryo to transfer with no backups. Yesterday I went to a consultation with a different Fertility Specialist and this new doctor noticed in my medical records that I was taking Lisinopril HCTZ pills for my high blood pressure condition and told me that you cannot take that while pregnant or trying to become pregnant because it can cause fetal cardiac abnormalities and neonatal kidney failure and death! Needless to say, because my fertility doctor failed to tell me to stop taking Lisinopril as soon as I started my infertility treatment with him he basically caused me to kill the embryo, my unborn baby. So now I want to continue my journey to have a baby via invitro but that is going to cost $22,000 to start over which I do not have. I already spent my life savings and took out new loans and used my insurance that I had at one time to fund the process that just failed. I have wanted to become a mom since 2008, so it’s been my dream for 12 years now but has not happened for me yet. I’m hoping that by sharing my story here on GoFundMe it will reach all the right people who can help give me the gift of life. A baby’s life. Thank You.
