Sue’s Miracle

My mom got a diagnosis of stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer. It started on her pancreas, has directly invaded her stomach and adrenal glands, and has jumped to her liver. This a rare cancer that is tricky to fight. She has had 5 rounds of chemotherapy and her cancer is less active but has not shrunk in size. She is also doing natural treatments at home. We are trying to raise money to send her to Germany for a therapy they offer there that isn’t offered in the United States called hyperthermia. They also do other treatments at the center as well including chemotherapy when needed. It’s all out of pocket though and very expensive. On our own it looks impossible, but if a lot of people offered a little help it is very possible. The center I spoke said they were $80,000, insurance would not help, and they needed it upfront. I wrote down 80k and said “God’s got this that just 80,000 people giving $1 dollar”. Her prayer request reached over 200,000 people. That’s less than a $1 a person. Scott and I are doing all we can and we know we need help. We thank you so much for reading this and helping us win this battle.

I asked Sue (my momma ❤️) what she would do with healing when it comes to her and she said she is going to use this to show others the love in this story. Even though it hurts there is love. Whether she shares it with one person she meets in the grocery store or a room full of people because she is sharing her testimony. It shows the love of God. Just like sending His son to die on the cross for us shows His love.

I, Kathleen, personally feel God has told me she will write her story and it will better His Kingdom. It’s one things to say “I’m sorry your hurting” it’s another to say “I’ve hurt that way before let me love you through this and show you how God delivered me.” I’m trying to what I’m called to do and that is make it possible for her story to continue.
