Sue Coleman's Funeral Costs

Donation protected

Suzanne Coleman- faithful wife, beautiful mother, amazing grandmother, and wonderful friend. We wish that we could fit Sue's bright and bubbly personality all into this page, but as some of you know, that's just not possible. Sue was such a warm light for everyone that knew her. A ray of sunshine that always made gloomy days better. She touched so many people's lives with her kindness and her sass. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do to help out or comfort anyone she knew or loved, or a stranger who was in need. Sue and Steve donated to over 20 different centers and foundations every year, and taught her children and grandchildren to do the same. She was a light that would fill a room without saying a word. Our family has been beyond blessed to have her in all of our lives. Sue and Steve had a wonderful and strong marriage that lasted 52 years, just as her parents did. The two high-school sweethearts had something special. A love that lasted a lifetime, through hardships and pain. Through love and loss. A love that held Sue’s hand to the end and remains even after she has gone.

Sue suffered a stroke and was taken to the ER on October 16, 2020. After many battles, including being transferred to a rehab and back and then eventually home, she was brought back to the hospital for the last time on November 14th, 2020.  Sue was internally bleeding, had no blood pressure, and no pulse. The doctors were able to save her life and stabilize her. Sadly, the damage was too great. With her second round of pneumonia, the damage from the stroke, and lack of oxygen to her brain, her body was shutting down.  We could never have imagined, as a family, having to go through this. As it was Sue's wish, had she ever gotten to this point in her life, she did not wish to stay on long term life support. Our family came to an incredibly difficult decision to take Sue off life support, and finally let her rest. On November 24th, 2020 around 9:30pm, Sue passed in her sleep. She passed without pain and surrounded by her family, holding her hands the entire way out.

2020 has been a year that has blindsided everyone and our family was not excluded from the pain of this year. In these hard times, we are asking for any donations to help with the funeral and burial costs. We wish to honor Sue's wishes for when she passed and give her a peaceful final resting place. Not everyone is able to donate, we realize, but even sharing this with others is greatly appreciated. Keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we will keep your family in ours.

-Thank you from the Coleman Family.
