Hi, my name is Timeka and I am creating a fundraiser for my husband Julius.

Julius was complaining of pain in his right eye. A few days later he completely lost his vision. After so many MRIs, CT scans, neurological exams, lumbar puncture, and blood work… He was diagnosed with a rare and very new autoimmune disease called MOG or MOGAD. The disease is attacking his central nervous system(the nerves in his eyes, brain, and spinal cord). He’s undergoing an aggressive treatment to help restore his vision, and he will start medical infusions thru IV to help prevent future attacks! Symptoms for this disease range from paralysis, vision loss, and having seizures! Julius had 2 prior attacks. He lost his vision in his left eye in 2017, and he lost mobility in his legs while working in 2019.

He has been in the hospital for 9 days. He will not get discharged until his vision is restored to the doctor’s satisfaction.
