The year is 1997. Hideaki Anno, hot off the success of Neon Genesis Evangelion, began work on "Love & Pop", which would become his first live action film.
This 45-minute documentary covers the making of that film and offers a rare look at Anno in the 90's. It gives us insight into this stage in his life as well as the production process of the film.
Unfortunately, the documentary has not been subtitled, so western audiences have yet to be given access to this knowledge.
