Support Recovery for Angela

As some of you may know, On May 31st last year Angela Nielsen fell while at work. As a result she has a traumatic brain injury. The past 9 months has been extremely difficult as she has endured numerous therapy and doctor appts in hopes of recovering. While she has gone to hundreds of different appts, it has come to a point that the Drs have told her that there is nothing else they can do for her. To this day she is still not able to work or go to school, where she was pursuing her degree in Graphic Design. She was recently told that she will never be able to work again unless they see substantial recovery. Being a single mom of 4 kids, she desperately needs to heal and find the right Drs and places that can truly help so that she can provide for her kids and have a better quality of life.

Angela has recently been accepted into a Traumatic Brain Injury Rehab in Utah. It is the only one like it in the country and specializes in different testing and therapies that no other place or doctor has been able to offer. It will look at her brain in specialized scans and be able to pinpoint where the injury is and how her brain is working and not working. She then will participate in very intensive therapies specific to her injuries. The success rate is 95% of patients see 70%-90% improvement when they are done with this program. Unfortanatly though, this program does not take insurance and has to be paid out of pocket, along with a plane ticket and hotel for the time she is there.
