Hi Everyone,
On 11/25/2019 - we did all of our final counts, and we are happy to announce we have met and surpassed our original goal!! THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS PARTICIPATED in this amazing endeavor.

On 11/21/2019, Mr. Khalsa, a 3rd grade elementary teacher at Mosier Elementary School, in South Hadley, was tragically killed in a car accident on Route 116. Anyone who met Mr. Khalsa, whether at Mosier or outside of school was touched by his gentle nature. He was the epitome of an outstanding teacher. This loss is HUGE for these young students. They are all trying to make sense of this loss.
In collaboration with Mosier Elementary, we are looking to get every student at Mosier Elementary a stuffed animal. The average price for a quality 6"-10" stuffed animal is $5-$8 per child. There are currently 440 students that are attending Mosier Elementary. Mosier Elementary serves grades 2 thru 4. Each child will receive a stuffie with a memorabilia item.
We are currently seeking out donations of stuffed animals from major corporations as well.
If we exceed our donations of 440 stuffed animals, whatever excess donations are made on here, will go back to the Mosier PTO to refund for the candles used in the candlelit vigil on Tuesday 11/26/2019. If we have remaining donations, we will forward them to the Go Fund Me set up for Mr. Khalsa's Memorial Fund.
*ALL DONATIONS will be recorded and receipts recorded so that there is proper tracking and reporting. The information will be available to the public, however, donors names and information will be kept private. Unfortunately due to the timing of this tragedy, we have not been able to get an official "tax exempt" situation set up. Your donation will be considered a personal gift and not tax-exempt.
