Studying in Polynesia

I have been accepted into a study abroad program that will take me to the American Samoa and Hawaii for 3 weeks to study traditional life and modernization in the context of justice and law this May. During my travels I will be introduced to Polynesian dance, food, and learn about village life through  tours of the islands, lectures in Samoan culture, law, politics, and history by the program director of the Samoan Studies Institute of American Samoan Community College. Furthermore, I will visit villages and government centers, and have meetings with village chiefs and government officials. This experience abroad will give me a hands on learning experience in my efforts to become an educated and well rounded global citizen.
