Studying Painting in Paris:summer18

Hi, my name is Sophia Barron , an environmental science major  at Appalachian State University. I am raising money in order to help me to travel for the first time this summer.
 I recently was awarded a $2500 scholarship for studying in France, and applied and was accepted to CIEE's summer open campus program in Paris to study the history of French painting, and Intro French. I have always wished for the oppurtunity to travel to Europe, but South Carolina is about the farthest I have been from my home in North Carolina, so far.

I am hoping to be able to enjoy my time in Europe this summer, and have a lot of great experiences to bring back with me! As a struggling college student, however, the cost of the trip quickly adds up, making going a lot more difficult. I am fortunate to have access to financial aid loans, which I can use to cover the remainder of trip costs if I must, however, I wanted to cover as much as possible without needing loans.
