"Bulembu is a town in Swaziland, Africa with the heart and vision to redefine and rebuild itself. Abandoned by the mining industry in 2001, the 10,000 residents soon deserted the town in search of employment. At the same time, the country continues to be ravaged by one of the highest HIV/AIDS infection rates in the world and the resulting orphan crisis."
As students visiting this town, we have the extraordinary opportunity to purchase and assemble a playground set for the children of Bulembu. In order to make this project happen, we need $1,500 to buy the materials. We are asking for donations to help us make this ambitious endeavor a reality!
Selfless service stands as one of Texas A&M's six core values. Given this chance to help disadvantaged children in a developing country, we cannot imagine a better way to utilize our time and effort than to serve those in need.
Any amount will help us tremendously and we sincerely appreciate every donation we can receive. (All funds will go towards the project and children of Bulembu)
Please share with your friends and family!
Thanks and Gig 'Em :)
