I am beyond excited for this opportunity to study abroad in Dublin, Ireland at the University College of Dublin. I am able to participate in this Honors Semester in Dublin because of my active participation in the Chancellor's Honors Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
I am so excited to immerse myself in the rich culture of Ireland (and hopefully) to explore other unique and beautiful parts of Europe! I am taking classes that will expand my knowledge on the culture and history of Dublin as well as aid me in my preparation for nursing classes starting in the fall of 2020.
I have taken classes at UT (18 hour semesters) and over the summer classesmto be able to have this opportunity. I put 110% into all that I do, including my coursework, and will continue to do so abroad.
Some of the expenses that are not covered by tuition are:
-food expenses (groceries, meals, etc...)
-travel (within Ireland and Europe: REALLY hope to be able to go to France.. <3)
-general school supplies (dorm, notebooks, etc...)
-other miscellaneous things... ( it's Europe)
My trip will begin in January of 2020 and run through May (it's a full semester). And funds between now and May would be greatly appreciated!!!
I am so thankful for your generosity (if you feel like you can aid in funding- any amount is so incredibly appreciated!!). However, I would like to make it known: I am working to earn and fund my trip and applying for countless scholarships (I'm not letting others do the work for me while sitting idly just waiting for the funding to come!)
Thank you for your support!! Above all, I would greatly appreciate your prayers: for safety while traveling and abroad, for the Lord to be given the glory for all that He does through me while I'm there, and for my eyes to be opened to the wonderfulness of His creation and glory while I'm abroad.
Thank you again,
Peace and Blessings,
