Study Abroad In Northern Ireland

For the last 3 years attending Ohio University I have learned so many valuable skills while being a full time student and holding two part-time jobs. Over this time I have declared two majors in Anthropology and Sociological Criminology, three certificates in Diversity studies, Understandings of Cultures and Global Studies in Eastern Asia. I am the president of an organization called CASSA (College of Arts and Sciences Student Ambassadors) as well as participate in the Woman's Center.
     During spring break of my senior year I have decided to dedicate my break on education rather than going on a trip with my friends. I am going to be attending the University for another year so that I can major in another field; Global Studies: War and Peace. I have been accepted to a program to travel to Northern Ireland and receive credits for this desired major. While there I will visit Belfast, Derry and Dublin. The purpose of this trip is to educate myself on The Troubles this area underwent after years of warfare.
    The funds from this page will be used towards my meals, airfare and minutes so I can contact family. Before this opportunity I have not had the chance to travel across seas, but the expenses are hard to cover while I am also paying my rent, bills and tuition.
