Studio FX

OUR STORY
For the past 15 years, Studio FX has been built on community, for the community. We have been a staple for dancers in and out of San Diego and a home to build up artists, both old and new. This past month, the global sickness made it difficult for us to continue to do so and we were forced to close our studio doors. Not only were our loyal dancers, and community teams put out, but our youth teams and classes were canceled indefinitely. This decision was difficult, and one we took very seriously, knowing the acute impact it will have on our teams. But like we’ve mentioned before, the health and safety of our dancers is our main concern and we did what we had to do to ensure that remained.  

Despite all of this, it is important to know that our staff and directors are still working around the clock. Our staff and directors are still working tirelessly to make sure our kids still have a team and a running studio to come back to. In these unprecedented times, we need to exhaust all options to make sure that dance is not only accessible to those who can afford it. Especially the kids, who have no control of the financial situation they have recently seen their families come into. But it takes a village.

This is why we are now asking for your help to make sure that our youth teams can continue not only through the quarantine, but after as well. Any donations will go towards our three youth programs so that they can continue with virtual rehearsals, to our directors so that they can continue to teach/plan these rehearsals, and lastly to our studio. Our goal through this page to ensure that we can continue to be a home for our dancers to feel safe, supported and loved! We are hopeful that we can raise enough to start teaching classes virtually, but most of all that we can open permanently keep our doors open.

We have amazing artists who are hungry to share, explore and interact again. Until then, we are humbly asking for anything that you can donate so we can continue to provide for the dancers of San Diego. We are extremely grateful for the love and support over the last 15 years. If you are able, please help us make it through another year.
