<div>This month, from <strong>July 14-30th</strong>, four actors from <strong>Studio Child</strong> will travel to Poland to participate in intensive training with <strong><a href="https://teatrzar.pl/en/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Teatr ZAR</a></strong>. For two weeks, these actors will live and work with an international group of theater artists, immersed in the rigorous physical, vocal, and collaborative practice for which Teatr ZAR is known worldwide.

<div>The intensive takes place at the <strong>Grotowski</strong> <strong>Institute’s</strong> <strong>Brzezinka</strong> <strong>forest</strong> <strong>base</strong>, located about 40 kilometers outside Wrocław, Poland. Founded in the 1970s by avant-garde director <strong>Jerzy</strong> <strong>Grotowski</strong>, this historic site has long served as a home for experimental theater research and practice.

<div>This experience will serve as a touchstone for the Studio’s burgeoning artistic culture, a groundwork to be shared with the broader company back in NYC, and a catalyst for the ensemble’s ongoing laboratory work on its <strong>next daring theatrical project</strong>.

<div>We are raising funds to support airfare, workshop fees, and travel expenses for the four participating actors undertaking this unique artistic expedition. Your support directly enables this one-of-a-kind training and invests in the future work of Studio Child.

The 'DNA' of Brzezinka already lives in Studio Child. With this opportunity, it becomes a collective experience—no longer something for me to communicate and others to imagine, but a common touchstone we will share. It would be a watershed moment for our work."
