Everybody deserves to go to college. I think that it's tougher nowadays to pay for it. The cost of living is going up, and well, in our economy- we can barely afford to live.  'You can't get anywhere without a degree these days' is really a true statement. The bar keeps getting pushed higher. For many people, higher education is not just something we want to do, but what we have to do. We aren't all lucky enough to happen to "know" somebody in a certain industry.

There are a ton of articles online explaining how to pay for college and how to go about getting loans and scholarships. So, sure there are many ways to pay for college, but what about the rest of it?

For some of us, our financial aid doesn't cover the whole cost. For some of us, our families can't or won't help out. So where does that leave us?

I saw someone had a fundraising page a couple years ago asking for the cost of one year's tuition and between their friends, their family, and random people, she raised enough money to pay her tuition for about three years.

I thought that was awesome and I had donated just 10 dollars to her cause. (I really didn't have much more to spend).

It was especially awesome because I had recieved a handwritten letter back from her explaining how grateful she was.

So I have a request. I'm asking for just enough to cover one semester of school. I'm about 6,507 dollars short for one semester. What I'll need for the whole year is about 13K.

A simple donation goes a long way and college is a quite an expense.

If I can make at least my cost for one semester, I will donate some money left over to other people who need money for college. I'm doing this in hopes that we can all help each other out. We all need help sometimes.

For each donation, I will send a hand written letter explaining how grateful I am. Even perhaps a report of my class grades if you're really interested ;P

Honestly,
If I can get 6,000 people to donate a dollar, I will already be almost there. Anything counts and even if you can't donate, your prayers would really help.

Thanks so much.

A little about me:
I'm 18 years of age from Southern New Jersey trying to attend Widener University for Criminal Justice. I love to sing, I love to act, I love to skateboard and I love to be active. I try not to be lazy and always try to find a solution for many of life's problems. I'm constantly on Craigslist looking for jobs and I have experience in a lot of different things because of that. I'm not dead yet, so that's a plus.

My facebook is https://www.facebook.com/OHheyitsanna so please feel free to add me, talk to me, poke me, etc- even if you haven't donated.

I'd love to explain more or talk.

Thanks again.
