<div>My name is Sourabh, and I’m an international student living in Canada. I recently had to undergo hernia surgery, which came unexpectedly and left me facing a very difficult financial situation.

<div>I came to Canada as a student, and I finished my studies in May. Unfortunately, my student insurance ended about two months ago, and since I am still waiting for my work permit, I am not yet eligible for OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). Because of that, I had to pay for my surgery entirely out of pocket.

<div>The hospital gave me an estimated bill of $18,000 CAD, which I simply cannot afford on my own. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, but my income is just enough to cover my basic living expenses like rent, food, and transportation.

<div>I’m raising funds to help me pay my hospital bills and recover without the overwhelming stress of this financial burden. Every small contribution will make a big difference in helping me get back on my feet.
