Hi all

Myself & Rebecca Johnson & Kimberley Malpas have decided to take a massive leap and volunteer for 2 weeks in July 2025 in UGANDA

We are all 2nd year student midwives and feel very passionate about helping out in a country that unfortunately does not have the high levels of healthcare systems available to ourselves. This alone results in a higher mortality for both the mother and the baby!

We need to raise money for; travel, visa

vaccinations, food whilst out there and would love to be able to take over some supply’s unavailable to the women and babies in Uganda.

When we were given the option to study anywhere for our elective placement, we knew it was a dream for all of us to travel to a much less developed country. We will be able to work inside the hospital & the community to support women and families during their pregnancy, labour and postnatal journey!

This is absolutely a ONCE IN A LIFETIME experience and we would all be eternally grateful for any support ‍⚕️

We are asking if any local business, family or friends would be so kind to help us raise the funds to get us over to Uganda. Any donations would be MASSIVELY appreciated
