StudentLoanJustice.Org is a true, grassroots organization created in 2005 for the purpose of compelling Congress to return standard consumer protections to student loans.
The removal of bankruptcy protections, statutes of limitations, and other core protections has turned the lending system into a predatory, big-government threat to the citizenry, and has caused massive inflation in the price of college.
We are now in Washington DC, fighting for the borrowers where so many others have ignored this problem. We've been featured, top story on 60 Minutes, the New York Times, CNBC, Rolling Stone, and many other outlets. We are credited with being the inspiration for multiple pieces of legislation.
We intend to, at a minimum, get standard bankruptcy protections to all student loans. There is legislation in Congress that will accomplish exactly this. Please join us in this battle. WE NEED YOU!
