<div>Hi my name is Patricia. I lost my husband on the 18th March 2025 while he was out working delivering to our customers in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. Unfortunately his heart stopped and although tourists and police tried CPR it took over 45 minutes for the ambulance to arrive. Had a defibrillator been available with someone with knowledge and training to use on my husband he may still be alive today. So my aim is with the help of a lovely lady called Sarah English. We have access to purchase defibrillators on the island and certified training for their use along with CPR and choking. We want to be able to install one every 100/200 meters between the bars and restaurants and offer to pay for training for some staff that work in the establishments. The training is legally certified and registered in Spain for 3 years. Each defibrillator costs 1795€ and training is 100€ per person. Unfortunately too many lives are being lost on our little island due to not having this available. So I ask please help us to help others and so no one has to face to pain and sadness I am facing every day.
