Stu's Birthday Gift

Donation protected
Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well during these crazy times.
As some of you may or may not know my dad's birthday is coming up at the end of November. Usually-since it's the holidays- he's surrounded by our whole extended family. I always felt like this was the best gift anyone could receive especially for someone like my father who is not very materialistic. However, this year is much different. The family will not be gathering like usual and it was time for me to think of a new plan. Like I said before, my dad does not have a passion for many material things. I have struggled in the past with what to get someone who enjoys the simplest things and is not the least bit worried about the latest fads and trends. I realized though, one thing my dad does love, is making smoothies for me and my brother, James. He does this multiple times a week and we take them (mostly) to make him happy. In the last couple months, I noticed the the blender was broken, but he still continued to use it (covering the top with a paper towel, and fussing with the sticky buttons). I knew what to get him! With the help of my kitchen savvy uncle, we found a blender that's perfect. I know it's rough times for many of us, so please don't feel any pressure to contribute more than you can, but I know that the best gift to my dad will be knowing this all came together through the people he loves most (he won't know until Nov. 25th).
Thank you all for reading my spiel!
Love,
Rachel
