<div>My name is Virginia and we currently are at the bottom of the barrel. My family and I are asking for some help to assist in getting back on our feet. Job loss and reduced hours at the job my husband currently has along with other factors have caused us to be in a bad place. Things are bleak now and we are feeling really down but there is always some hope.

<div>Right now, though, there is little money coming in and more money needed to go out for several things. We are drowning . Here are a few things we could use some help with while we continue to get things moving.

<div>1. Basics- Until we can get jobs that will actually hire, we really could use help with basics like food, etc.

<div>2. Medications-I have been in and out of the hospital over the last several months and need medical supplies to keep my condition under control. I have to use supplies at least every other day and that expense adds up. We also have an Amazon wih list with some of these supplies on it-link at bottom of this page.

<div>3. Food-Right now, SNAP is gone and we still have to feed the same amount of people. We get some food pantry help, but we are not able to use everything we get because we can't cook some things. We give those items to our community fridge.

<div>4. General bill pay- I finally got Social Security but my Social security payments will not pay the bills. Until we find other sources of income, we need some help to get us by.

<div>Bills are phone (which my husband needs for his job and we need for contact to get help resources), a storage unit (most of our possessions are in it), car insurance and other small things.

<div>5. Gas-We need gas money to get to work sites and food banks. We have to drive all over the Houston area.

<div>6. Non-Food Items-We need things like plastic cutlery, paper plates, toiletries etc.
</div>

<div>7. Medical bills-I have had a few expensive visits to the hospital in recent months and there are pretty big bills related to that.
