3/27/2025 update cash app: tabiicat28
I found out I have a very rare gene that causes Vacoular Myopathy. I'll be seeing a specialist soon but there's not a lot of information on this gene or the disease, so I'm not sure what the next step is. I also have some type of Ehlers Danlos syndrome. Will see a specialist for that as well. I'm up on my feet again! Though I tire out really quickly so I'm still not able to work. Thank you to everyone checking up on me and all those who were able to help. Anything is much appreciated during this time. Thank you all. I'll keep updating this as I get new information. This has been a rollercoaster and I've been fighting for help for over a year now. So glad I can almost see the finish line!
12/13/2024 update, I was discharged to home, there's nothing they can do for me right now to improve anything. My muscle biopsy is indicating a mitochondrial Myopathy so I'll have to start seeing a genetics doctor. My arms are starting to go pins and needles more often now as well. I was officially diagnosed with Cutaneous Lupus but I'll need more testing for the foot cause of the paralysis. Still waiting for disability, so please continue to share I could use all the help right now. Thank you to everyone who is checking in and who has donated it is all greatly appreciated.
Hello. For the last year I've been fighting an unknown illness, I've been continuing to decline and as of 1 week ago I can no longer walk, I cant stand, I can't even feel my legs at all. We still aren't sure why this is happening to me and unfortunately I've had to quit my job. I applied for disability but you know how long that can take and bills are still due, I need a little help getting by for now until something changes. I hate asking for help but this is something I can't do alone unfortunately. I don't know when I'll be discharged from hospital but we know when I am discharged it will be into an acute rehab, not home. I want to get back to work but I cannot. I will keep everyone updated as we get more tests in, but right now I have no answers.
