Struggling mom and childern

Six months ago we helped a young lady Alexandra with four children with a place to live so she could begin have a new beginning. She got a job as waitress and relies on someone else for transportation as she does not have a car. With her lower income she stills struggles. In early March the restaurant closed due to Covid-19  and she was let go.  She fell behind in rent and utilities two months. We paid the utilities and are not demanding any rent until she is back on her feet.  She applied for unemployment and after waiting over 5 weeks received a denial letter as she did make enough money in the previous 5 quarters. Last year most of the year she lived with family in an uncomfortable situation, and was unable to work much with the kids and no transportation.  She is appealing, but Pennsylvania is so backed up who knows when she will hear or get accepted. She does receive $73 a month in cash assistance from Welfare and food stamps.  It does not go far. There is no child support as he is doing time in a correctional facility. She did just get two part time days at a take out place. To date she has not received her stimulas check, and either have I.  You can help make difference by making a small contribution.  May God Bless each of you whether you choose to help or not.
