Struggling in California

Donation protected
This is extremely difficult for me to reach out to family and friends for some financial support in time of an emergency. As most of you know, I am a single professional mother sharing the support of my 12 year old son.

Currently I have been without a job going into the 5th month come March. I have been actively interviewing for various positions in my field of expertise; it's a matter of time that I will be in a new position.

UPDATE:
As we approach March 2018 I have raised some funds and not the goal that went toward February expenses; but now am approaching the same expenses for March. I have exhausted all resources and savings well before the February deadline. The funds that I am trying to raise will mainly go toward the following expenses: rent, gas/electric, internet, phone, payment, and insurance as well as various other expenses.

Additionally, I looked into emergency rental assistance and other public programs. This is what I found out.
I can't get public assistance or food stamps because my unemployment income is over $1200 monthly, which will run out sometime. Then I don't have enough income to qualify for emergency rental assistance beacuse my monthly expenses exceed my income by more than $100.

If you could support my GoFundMe by making a donation and helping in an emergency, I would greatly appreciate it.  You may also make a comment as to whether it will be considered a loan. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5 helps me get closer to my goal! Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them.
