Hello Everyone,
If I had to describe my cousin Sara, I would say she is strong, intelligent, generous, hard working, and beautiful. She is overall a stellar human being with the biggest and kindest heart. Many of you know Sara as a sister, daughter, friend, coworker and an amazing mother to her five-year-old daughter Sydney.
Sara and her family have been very active with breast cancer awareness and have participated in many of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness walks in memory of their beloved Aunt Cheryl, surviving Aunt Devon as well as other warriors in their life that have been impacted.
Earlier this year Sara began experiencing pain in her left breast and rib area, after a suggested mammogram that turned into a biopsy Sara was diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer on February 13, 2018. Her treatment plan will consist of 16 chemotherapy sessions over 20 weeks, then she will undergo a double mastectomy followed by radiation.
Sara has embarked on this journey with an overflow of love and support from family and friends. She still radiates positivity and lights up every room she enters. Sara has always had extraordinary strength, while this journey is unexpected and has thrown many obstacles, her strength will not fail her; God will not fail her. Sara is ready to fight this with ALL she has. This is a chance for us to help make this journey a little easier for her and Sydney.
All donations will go towards medical expenses as well as a financial support because as she continues this treatment plan it will be much more difficult for her to work as a single mom. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.
