Strong Family GoFundMe

As many of you may have heard, pain and loss has hit our Aggie family, the community, and a family who we hold so close and dear to our hearts. Dr. Robert Strong Jr. and Dr. Jen Strong ‘01 were struck with tragedy when their children, Brenna & Cooper Williams, were in a car accident the evening of Tuesday, December 19th while riding with their grandparents, Freda and James Williams, and 2 cousins. The driver of a Ford pickup truck crossed the centerline and hit them head-on, leaving Freda and one of the cousins pronounced dead at the scene. The surviving passengers were rushed to the hospital where both James and the remaining cousin were treated for minor injuries. Both Brenna and Cooper were transported to Cook Children’s in Fort Worth. Brenna, 13, has since had surgery, been released and is on the mend. Emma, the surviving cousin, is still being treated in the hospital. Unfortunately, Cooper, 8, succumbed to his severe head injuries Wednesday morning and has passed away. He is with our Lord now, and watching over all of us who continue to grieve his passing.


While we know Dr. Jen and Dr. Robert would never ask for help, we want to show them our unconditional love and support in any way that we can. They have done so much to serve thousands of students and their community, and we want to give back as best we can during this time of grieving. One way of doing this is by helping to cover at least part of the medical, funeral, and travel expenses.
