Stroke Support for Evelyn

Donation protected
Help Support Evelyn Noble, Mother of Sue Moose and Kelly Noble.
Evelyn was found face down in a pile of drool on the floor after suffering a severe large stroke. She hit her head on the fall and broke things off the entertainment center on her way down. She was not able to talk or get up.

She was rushed by ambulance to the hospital after calling 911 and then rushed to another hospital for emergency surgery. She had several CT scans and a MRI's and many more test before and after surgery, and more to come. She is unable to move anything on her right side and still cannot talk. Her scans showed large white areas, which shows damage. She has the same amount of bleeding as yesterday.

To help her be able to power through her time in the hospital ICU – to inpatient rehab – to a skilled nursing facility for continued Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Therapy (ST) – to being able to go home with her daughter, she needs your help and support.  She may not be able to walk or climb stairs to enter her home, she may need a ramp, because she may have continued paralysis of his right side. She will have to learn to eat, read and talk again, walk with a quad cane or be in a wheelchair, complete all her self-care/activities of daily living.
She will need help with all her struggles.  She has her daughter to help be her caregiver, but during this time, she is spending so much on gas to and from hospital, food away from home, parking, and time away from work. This will continue for months. The co pays are going to start coming in, hospital bills, therapy bills, ambulance bills, doctor bills.  Then their is needs like home and travel wheelchairs (for long distance), hand rails thru out the home, ramps, skilled nursing, shower-seat, hand-help shower, the next 6 plus months is going to be overwhelming for Evelyn and her daughters.

Once she is home she will still have to received homecare PT, OT, Home Health Aide and Nursing, and need so much ADA compliance items.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Evelyn is unable to have any visitors other than her one daughter.   Her daughters are desperately needing a fund for mom and her care.  There is insurance, but there is so much they don’t cover.  This is going to be a VERY long hard time.

These amounts are beyond our ability to cover at this time all the adaptations and so much more we need to do to the house.  Insurance will not cover a ramp,  gas, food away from home and so much more.

Her daughters are determined to do there best…but it will take time and a whole team. Everyone that knows her daughters knows there dedication to there mom, and how much they love her and care for her.

The support of family, friends and community means the world to Sue and Kelly.  Evelyn would be so grateful for the help you can give.
Our goal is to get her the best care and keep her in her familiar home, rather than have to go into a nursing home.

She is well-known in the city and community and loved by so many friends.  We need a support system for Evelyn and continue to provide the help needed to be able to keep her at home, once she is out of Skilled care, with Sue.

It is just terrible that her daughters, but Especially Evelyn has to endure this and also especially during the holidays. Evelyn always enjoyed the Fall and Winter holidays.  Help all you can. Evelyn is not able to ask, and needs your help.

Heartfelt thanks go to you for your consideration of a donation to help Evelyn and her daughters help her.

PLEASE also continue to pray for the Noble and Moose Family.
