On May 9th, 2024, my remarkable mother, Gloria Ricca, demonstrated unparalleled courage in the face of adversity, suffering a massive stroke that impacted 80% of the left side of her brain. Yet, her indomitable will and resilience have only grown stronger. Prior to the stroke, my mom's vibrant personality and leadership shone brightly as the manager at Chico's. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandma, her love and generosity continue to touch the lives of those around her. Since the stroke, my mother's inspiring journey has been characterized by her unwavering determination and perseverance. Her husband's selfless commitment to her care is a powerful testament to their unbreakable bond.
