Stroke No Joke!

Greetings, FBF&F!

Recently, my family traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, in celebration of our 37th-year Family Reunion. Saturday, July 15th, my brother-in-law Steve Henderson suffered a "large" stroke and was in ICU for 6 days. Shirley has been there and will remain until he is well enough to come home.

Steve is making some improvement and has been moved up to an intermediate unit where he is undergoing extensive therapy, which could last 2-3 weeks. The doctors want to see more improvement before releasing him to fly home.

Steve's unexpected illness has caused him and Shirley to incur unexpected expenses. Many of you have asked how you can help and want to reach out to bless them. Our family decided after much thought and prayer to open this Go Fund Me page. We thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts for your calls, prayers, concern, and financial blessings! Please continue to keep Shirley and Steve in your prayers. May God continue to bless and favor each of you and your families! !
