Well, it’s not easy for me here in Gambia as I am a young man living with my old mother and siblings. Our father abandoned us five years ago, and life has become very difficult for us. As I’m talking to you right now, things are not easy on me here. We are hungry and starving, and it's difficult to get work here because we have many unemployed people. The number of people without work is more than the number of people working here due to the lack of good education and a government that is not supporting us. They are working for their own pockets.

I have tried my best to find work, but as I am not a graduate from school and have no certificate, it’s difficult for me to find one.

I now go to the forest to find some firewood and sell it at the local market. Anything I earn from there, that’s what I use to buy some food and buy some data for my phone so that I can talk to good people and get some help from them.
