Help Us Heal the Hospital Workers at South Shore Health!
We are a team of Board of Medicine (BORIM) licensed Acupuncture Therapists partnering with South Shore Health hospital (Weymouth MA) to provide stress and anxiety relief treatments to frontline South Shore Health hospital workers experiencing extreme mental, emotional and physical strain during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Frontline South Shore Health Hospital workers will stop in before and after their shifts and receive treatments to help mitigate the feelings and symptoms of elevated stress, anxiety, low back pain, PTSD and fatigue.
South Shore Health Systems is the 1st in the Nation to adopt this model of support for their frontline team members!
Safe, clinically effective, therapeutic acupuncture treatments will be a welcomed relief for those on the frontline. Your generous and thoughtful donations will make a direct positive impact on the health and wellbeing of South Shore Health hospital workers. No donation is too small or too large!

Jimmy Chung Van Duong Lic.Ac. is a graduate of MCPHS University (NESA) and Member at Large (10 years) for the South Shore Health Charitable Foundation Board as well as the Clinical Director and lead Acupuncture Therapist at New England Wellness Solutions (Weymouth and Hanover MA).
Gina Girouard Lic.Ac. is a graduate of MCPHS University where she established the first Student Association of Acupuncture Interns (SANESA) in a health science university. As president (2 terms) she lead a team of Acupuncture Interns in creating a pop up clinic treatment model to mitigate the feelings and symptoms of stress and anxiety during final exams each semester. Pharmacy, Nursing and Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Dental Hygiene, and Optometry students continue to benefit every semester. Gina is a practicing Acupuncture Therapist in Kingston MA.
Safety Measures: The Acupuncture Therapists will practice universal precautions as healthcare providers including the wearing of KN95 masks, gloves, and face shields. Our colleagues receiving treatments will be required to wear a face mask. Physical distancing will be practiced when feasible and electronic booking will be utilized to minimize unnecessary contact. Patients will be required to sanitize hands prior to entry.
