Strength for Sammy

"He's such a great kid, you would love him! He's the smart one.  I am supposed to work for him one day, this kid is amazing at math.  He's smarter than I ever could be, he wants to become an actuary.  And the kid's a stud... all the guys love him too, like all my college and highschool friends.  He's such a cool kid.  He was just starting to break out of his shell, he was a very quiet kid growing up.  He was always Jack's brother, even coming up through school, teachers would always say Jack's brother.  He's such a great kid... a little shy but once you get to know him he's amazing. "  -Jack Kavetski when I asked him to tell me about his brother Sam. 

We all know and love Jack and his beloved brother Sammy. Incase you haven't had the privilege of meeting Sam, he is in his freshman year at NC State where he is majoring in mathematics.  He enjoys playing hockey and xbox, and then again what guy Sam's age doesnt?  One notable quality about Sam is that he constantly puts others before himself.  He is the type of guy who will have your back, before you even know you need a shoulder to lean on.  Sam is the definition of a genuine, loving, kind, caring person.  Sammy is 19 and has been diagnosed with a  very serious case of pneumonia and Lemierres Syndrome, a rare bacterial infection, and is currently in intensive care at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. Sam's parents have left their home in PA to be with Sam, and Jack flys down as often as he can. As we continue to pray for the Kavetski family we want to help raise money to cover the cost for travel and medical expenses. We hope you find the good in your heart to help donate to Sammy.
