Help a 45-Year-Old Woman Fight Cancer While Rebuilding Her Life

Life can change in an instant, and for me, it has been one challenge after another.

In 2024, I underwent emergency aortic surgery, a life-saving procedure that required a long and difficult recovery. While I was still trying to regain my strength, I received another devastating diagnosis: Stage 3 breast cancer.

Since then, my life has been filled with surgeries, treatments, doctor's appointments, medications, and the emotional and physical toll that comes with battling cancer. Because of my health, I have been unable to work, and the financial burden has become overwhelming.

I applied for Social Security Disability benefits in 2024, hoping for some financial stability while I focused on my recovery. My application was denied. I appealed in 2025, only to be denied again in 2026. As I continue pursuing the benefits I desperately need, I have been left without the income necessary to meet even my basic needs.

I am currently facing unstable housing while also trying to cover medical co-pays, prescription medications, transportation to treatments, food, utilities, and other everyday living expenses. Every day is a battle—not only against cancer but also against the financial hardship that has come with it.

Asking for help is not easy, but I have reached a point where I cannot do this alone. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help relieve the burden of medical costs and basic living expenses so I can focus on what matters most: fighting cancer and healing.
