Hello friends,
at the end of June I am travelling to Nepal to volunteer for a month with Street Child UK, an NGO that aims at improving the access to education for some of the most vulnerable children in Asia and Africa. I will be there as a research volunteer conducting primary and secondary research at field sites to collect data to inform their future initiatives. Street Child Nepal conducts research to implement interventions regarding inclusive education especially for children with disabilities and children of migrant brick makers. The NGO plays also a very important role in the examination of chronic and acute vulnerabilities in slum and squatter settlements heavily affected by the earthquake in 2015.
I have created this page to raise money for Street Child Nepal. All the funds raised on this page will support this work –as the travel and other expenses are self-funded. It would be lovely if you could help me to raise money for this great cause by giving whatever you can and feel to give. Share, spread the word and donate!

alla fine di giugno andrò in Nepal a fare volontariato per un mese con Street Child UK, una ONG cha ha lo scopo di promuovere l’accesso all’educazione per alcuni dei bambini più vulnerabili in Asia and Africa. Raccoglierò dati che serviranno ad informare le loro future iniziative. Street Child Nepal conduce ricerca per implementare progetti con lo scopo di promuovere un’educazione inclusiva soprattutto per i bambini con disabilita e figli dei migranti che lavorano nelle fabbriche di mattoni. L’ONG inoltre ha un ruolo importante nella ricostruzione delle slums che sono state distrutte durante il terremoto nel 2015.
Ho creato questa pagina per raccogliere fondi a favore di Street Child Nepal. Tutti i fondi raccolti andranno a supportare il lavoro di questa ONG in quanto il viaggio e le altre spese sono coperte da me. Mi piacerebbe che mi aiutaste a raccogliere i soldi per questa importante causa. Qualsiasi importo è assolutamente ben accetto.
