StPierre Family Flood Recovery

Fairway Outdoor is asking for donations for a family in need.  Brenda StPierre has been with our company at our Wilmington office for 7 years in the role of Sales Assistant/Market Scheduler.  During Hurricane Florence in September, she and her husband lost their home of 27 years, as well as all of their belongings as a result of massive flooding.  Flood waters rose to 5.5 feet inside the house, causing extensive water damage and mold.  Adjusters have deemed the house a total loss.  Brenda and her husband shuffled back and forth between family and friends for over a week before finally settling at a local KOA campground.  Though the house is a loss, they are still responsible for monthly mortgage payments as well as any other bills incurred before the storm.  She and her husband are hoping they will soon be able to start over again in a new location on higher ground.  The emotional and financial toll this loss has taken on the family has caused many sleepless nights.  As an organization, we must look out for our own and wish to help Brenda and her family get back on their feet and lessen the burden this storm has caused them.
