Who we are and what we do:
The St. Paul Stars is a club synchronized swim team that was started 20 years ago by a mom who wanted to provide an affordable way for her girls to have the opportunity to participate in the amazing sport of Synchronized Swimming. Synchronized Swimming combines swimming, dancing, gymnastics, and holding one’s breath for long periods of time. It requires strength, poise, teamwork, and perseverance. Our team provides a unique opportunity for kids in and around St. Paul to participate in an affordable sport. Our team is made up of girls ages 5 - 18. These girls work hard both in and out of the pool to be the best they can be. For many on our team “Synchro” is their life.
Why we need money:
This fall, our pool rental fees unexpectedly increased by $10,000! We are hoping to raise this money so all the girls can continue to afford to swim with the St. Paul Stars team. Many of the girls won’t be able to continue without your help!
